If you’re interested in gardening at ANY level, this is an event you won’t want to miss! Home Grown Food Group will be holding its annual Seed Swap Saturday March 6th from 1-4 pm at Avogadro’s Number, 605 S Mason in Fort Collins. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from several of Fort Collins’ finest gardeners about how and when to start your garden. Don’t be shy if you don’t have seeds… an eagerness to learn and/or small donations are also accepted. The Seed Swap is also an excellent opportunity to pass on your knowledge and favorite seeds to local, budding gardeners! Plant up your seeds in a FREE seed flat to start indoors at home. Home Grown Food-recommended seeds will be available for only $1.00.
We attended this as a family last year and found this event to be teeming with master gardeners who were eager to help answer our questions — even though it is a fundraiser, that really isn’t their focus.
